




Job Summary: The Digital Intelligence Project Manager leads a team to ensure deliveries within scope, cost, and schedule, applying project management methodologies and coordinating with clients to achieve project success. Focus on sustainable delivery of results and people development. **Job Description** This position is for on-site work in Contagem, Minas Gerais. **Who will you work with?** You will join Wabtec’s Project Management \- Digital Intelligence team, composed of highly skilled, motivated professionals leading the digital transformation in the global railway market. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the Project Management – Digital Intelligence team, you will be responsible for leading a project team that ensures deliveries within the agreed scope, cost, and schedule; monitors project KPIs; applies the most appropriate and context-relevant project management methodology for the project and the company’s current stage; receives, evaluates, and executes change requests, among other duties. Additionally, the Project Manager is fully responsible for all client relationship and coordination throughout project execution. Conducting a detailed study of the project scope, focusing on its Work Packages (deliverables) and required activities for execution. Creating the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) jointly with Engineering Leaders. Developing the project plan by creating a detailed schedule based on activity definition, duration, and sequencing. Similarly, ensuring that project milestones—including standard ones (revenue recognition / billing / payment)—are properly incorporated into the schedule. Monitoring and controlling project progress across all phases: Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Construction, Commissioning, Assisted Operation, and Closure—aiming to track physical progress and adherence to scheduled project activities, as well as receipt and Sales events as planned. Likewise, tracking engineering hours allocated to the project, verifying compliance with the plan, reporting deviations, and recommending corrective actions when necessary. Preparing physical progress curves and Progress Reports for clients, as well as internal reports, per defined guidelines and frequency. **What do we want to know about you?** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; * Strong experience in Project Management; * Focus on sustainable delivery of results, supported by mature processes and people development; * Excellent communication and persuasion skills; * Ability to manage client relationships; * Experience working in dynamic and challenging environments where quality and delivery timelines are critical to customer satisfaction; * Fluent English; * Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.); * Advanced knowledge of PMI and/or IPMA project management methodologies; * Willingness to travel frequently; * Experience in the railway sector (desirable); * PMP or IPMA certification (desirable); * Fluent Spanish (desirable); * Knowledge of Agile methodologies (desirable). **What will your day-to-day look like?** * Full project management, including cost, revenue, and profitability tracking; * Coordination of interface and communication with clients; * Control and monitoring of schedules and dependencies (internal and with clients); * Definition and execution of implementation strategies with segment leaders; * Change Order management; * Contract management; * Scope management with Segment Leaders (Requirements and Documentation). **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
