Job Summary: The Logistics Supervisor coordinates operational activities, ensures deadlines and quality, manages teams, and optimizes processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Strategic planning for the department aimed at efficiency and cost control The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the department’s operational activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining the quality of logistics processes. This role involves team management, inventory control, operational process optimization, and pursuit of continuous improvements in processes. Additionally, the Logistics Supervisor plays a critical role in strategic planning for the department, targeting efficiency and cost reduction. * Supervises and controls general warehousing activities; * Directly manages a team of operational staff and provides team leadership; * Has full responsibility for warehouse access control, team time tracking, and systematic control over warehouse processes via WMS; * Is accountable for goods receipt, storage, material handling, and final dispatch; * Monitors and trains the operational team on all related activities; * Manages both system-based and physical receipt processes; * Controls order processing deadlines (SLA) for picking; * Responsible for managing reports and performance indicators for the department, reporting to the Operations Coordinator/Manager; * Initiates and follows up on IT system service requests with the company’s IT department; * Performs other duties related to the position as directed by superiors. REQUIREMENTS: Prior experience in this role. Familiarity with Escala Soft is desirable. EDUCATION: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; completion in related fields is preferred.
