




Job Summary: This professional is responsible for inspecting products upon receipt and dispatch, ensuring inventory control and organization, checking for damages and expiration dates, and supporting shipping operations. Operation of material handling equipment and inventory control systems The inspector is responsible for verifying products during inbound and outbound processes, ensuring inventory control and organization. Duties include checking for any type of damage as well as validating compliance with expiration dates. The inspector must verify relevant documentation, count items, and compare them in detail with the invoice or purchase/sales order. In cases of discrepancies regarding item codes, quality (specifications), or quantities, the professional must immediately notify the supervisor. During shipping operations, the inspector must physically compare products to be shipped against information on the invoice or order, verifying that labels and storage or delivery addresses are correct. Additionally, the inspector must be capable of efficiently and safely operating material handling equipment, inventory control systems, scales, microcomputers, and data terminals.
