This position is responsible for managing and defining diagnostic requirements and coordinating information with software developers, factory operations, and service teams. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Design diagnostic requirements according to standard requirements. * Document diagnostic requirements in defined specific documents. * Review supplier documentation and share it with software implementers. * Provide support across various verification and validation (V&V) testing phases. * Issue management (Powertrain Issue Tracking System). * Support the company and service across various pre- and post-Job1 phases. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or Automation Engineering. * Technical background in vehicle dynamics and control systems. * Ability to interpret and discuss complex control algorithms. * Knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow. * Knowledge of model-based design. * Familiarity with automotive communication standards (CAN, UDS, J1939\). * Knowledge of Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANape. * Knowledge of ETAS tools such as INCA/MDA. * Knowledge of embedded software development (C, C\+\+). * Advanced English proficiency **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in automotive product development and/or knowledge of electronic modules and automotive electronics * Experience in ADAS/ECU system testing * Programming knowledge in Python, Vector CAPL * ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level / Test Analyst certification * Basic or intermediate German language skills **Additional Information** * CLT employment contract * Flexible working hours * Meal or food allowance * Fuel allowance or transportation voucher * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Training incentives: languages and specialized courses * Life, health, and dental insurance * Partnerships with universities and language schools **About the Company**: IAV is one of the world’s leading providers of automotive engineering services.
