Join us and become part of a team committed to **saving lives and building Brazil.** Responsibilities and duties: * Wash, sanitize, peel, and chop vegetables, leafy greens, herbs, and fruits used in preparing lunch and dinner meals for employees and patients, ensuring food safety in compliance with current sanitary legislation. * Set up the hot and refrigerated service counters for meal distribution to employees and patients of the Institution, ensuring continuous food supply. * Perform pre-preparation of proteins according to established menus and technical specifications, adhering to good handling practices as stipulated by current legislation. * Sanitize utensils used in the cafeteria—including trays, cutlery, glasses, and plates—in the automatic dishwasher, ensuring food safety and proper sanitation per sanitary legislation. * Clean and organize the food pre-preparation and preparation areas, including cleaning equipment and general utensils in the area, following the daily activity schedule to prevent cross-contamination of food. * Assist in cooking meals for patients on standard and special diets, as well as assist in meal production for employees, according to the daily activity schedule, to ensure meals are served at institutional times. * Restock preparations into stainless steel sinks for portioning patient diets, companion meals, and employee meal distribution in the cafeteria, using support carts. * Label products after opening, following standard operating procedures and guidelines established by legislation. Requirements and qualifications: * Completed or ongoing elementary education; * Prior experience in hospital or outpatient settings is considered an advantage.
