Collaboration with engineering and customers on technical solutions and strategies **Job Description** **This position requires on-site work in São Luís \- MA** **Who will you work with?** The Fleet Performance Management (FPM) team works collaboratively with multiple internal Wabtec departments and external partners. The FPM team is responsible for executing reliability programs, contractual management, and technical customer support, working closely with finance, engineering, and global reliability teams. **How will you make a difference?** You will be responsible for daily monitoring of the customer’s locomotive fleet performance, conducting technical analyses and reliability reporting, as well as tracking strategic fleet indicators. You will work closely with the Reliability Manager, supporting customer interactions and contributing to performance, service, and technical improvement discussions. You will also participate in field initiatives, component risk analyses, technical scope definition, and continuous improvement projects. Another key responsibility is dynamically tracking equipment performance and collaborating with the Materials team on inventory control and consumption pacing. The role frequently requires creating technical/executive materials, reports, and presentations for internal meetings and customer engagements. **What we want to know about you:** * Experience with indicator analysis and dashboards; * Relationship-building, communication, and influence skills across all hierarchical levels; * Strong organization, discipline, and commitment to deadlines; * Analytical mindset with a focus on practical problem-solving; * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Advanced/Fluent English; **Desirable** * Knowledge of Power BI and Python **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** * + Monitor locomotive performance indicators daily and support internal and external communications with the customer; + Maintain and update internal tracking systems, contributing to action plans and goal-oriented projects; + Collaborate closely with Engineering and Reliability teams in failure investigations and technical solution definition; + Lead weekly meetings with engineering and occasional meetings with the customer on specific topics; + Support development of technical scopes for field modifications, including schedule and cost analysis; + Participate in planning and execution of reliability programs for fleets under your responsibility; + Conduct analyses to assess the effectiveness of actions and their impact on locomotive performance; + Support FPM in developing reports, presentations, and strategic deliverables; + Act as a process multiplier, contributing to standardization and continuous development of the area; + Partner with the customer’s PCM team to schedule reliability plans and monitor execution of defined actions. **Additional Information** **What could you achieve in an environment that truly puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job — it’s about the impact you create.
