We are looking for a **Senior Backend Developer** to assume a critical role in our Product Sales module—the engine responsible for ensuring our customers’ goods keep moving. You will work at the core of our proprietary platform, developing and maintaining the mechanisms for issuing, transmitting, and returning fiscal documents (NF\-e, NFC\-e, MDF\-e). This is a challenge for those who thrive under high-volume, mission-critical systems. You will handle direct communication with SEFAZ web services, contingency management, intensive XML manipulation, complex tax rules (ICMS, IPI), and system adaptation to the new framework of the Tax Reform. If you master PHP, excel at optimizing SQL Server to handle billing peaks, and leverage AI to code at an advanced level, we want to talk to you. **What You’ll Do Daily** ------------------------------------- * **SEFAZ Integration Engineering:** Develop, maintain, and scale integrations with SEFAZ web services (authorization, cancellation, correction letters, invalidation), ensuring resilience and stability. * **Fiscal Document Lifecycle:** Architect robust logic for complex operations such as transmissions, returns, triangular transactions, and contingency issuance. * **Optimization and High Volume:** Deeply engage with the database (SQL Server). You’ll analyze execution plans, refactor heavy queries, and ensure billing tables with millions of rows respond within milliseconds. * **Fiscal Strategy and Tax Reform:** Implement the complex tax engine (CST/CSOSN, CFOP, NCM, ICMS sharing) and serve as a key contributor in restructuring the platform to address the impacts of the **Tax Reform** on goods circulation (IBS/CBS). * **Asynchronous Processing:** Handle messaging and batch processing to ensure government server bottlenecks or outages do not halt our customers’ billing. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Non-Negotiable Requirements (What You Must Have)** ---------------------------------------------------- * **PHP Seniority:** Minimum of **5 years of proven, exclusive professional experience with PHP**, focused on highly available systems and clean code. * **Fiscal Expertise (NF\-e/SEFAZ):** Absolute mastery of product fiscal document structures (NF\-e, NFC\-e, MDF\-e), XML signing (A1/A3 certificates), and SOAP/REST messaging with SEFAZ. * **SQL Server Mastery:** Advanced database optimization knowledge.
