




Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning, scheduling, controlling, and monitoring construction projects to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, with a focus on project management. Risk analysis and issuance of executive reports ### **Job Mission** Plan, schedule, control, and monitor the physical and financial progress of construction projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality requirements defined in the project scope. ### **Responsibilities and Activities** * Review and analysis of project drawings, specifications, and scope documents. * Development of the **WBS – Work Breakdown Structure**. * Creation and updating of the **physical schedule** (phases, durations, dependencies, and resources). * Planning of the project’s **cash flow**. * Generation of **S-curves** and resource histograms. * Decomposition of the master schedule into **action plans**, weekly and monthly schedules. * Continuous alignment with engineers, foremen, and field teams. * Analysis and monitoring of **planning KPIs**. * Participation in site meetings, coordination sessions, and interface meetings. * Risk analysis and definition of contingency plans. * Issuance of weekly and monthly executive reports. * Presentation of results to senior management, clients, and project teams. * Technical documentation of construction progress for project historical records. ### **Job Requirements** ### **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering**, **Architecture**, or **Building Construction Technician**. * Additional training in construction planning is considered a plus. ### **Technical Knowledge** * MS Project and/or Primavera P6\. * Advanced Excel. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. * Basic knowledge of budgeting and cost estimation. * Project management tools: S-curves, WBS, histograms. * Power BI (desirable). * AutoCAD (desirable). ### **Experience** * Prior experience in construction planning, control, or engineering roles. * Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. ### **Behavioral Competencies** * Organization and discipline. * Analytical thinking. * Proactivity and critical thinking. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Systems thinking and results orientation.
