Visually assess quality and collect samples for analysis. Perform cleaning, removal of impurities, and elimination of infestations. Adjust raw material moisture content when necessary. Prepare machines and equipment, loading them and adjusting operational parameters. Activate transportation systems (conveyors, elevators, augers) that deliver products to mills. Operate mills and auxiliary equipment, adding ingredients when required for specific formulations. Clear blockages in pipelines, screens, and sieves to maintain process flow. Monitor grinding process parameters such as rotation speed and flow rate. Verify established standards and formulations against technical specifications. Analyze physical product characteristics (e.g., particle size distribution) and make adjustments as needed. Identify out-of-specification products and report required adjustments. Verify scale tare weights, packaging dates, and labeling information. Package and store finished products according to quality standards. Direct packages, bales, or boxes to shipping. Complete production reports and record operational data. Document non-conforming products and corrective actions. Perform minor equipment adjustments and preventive cleaning. Follow technical and regulatory safety and environmental standards.
