This position will be responsible for collaborating with peers on the Trading team across energy trading platforms, as well as managing bilateral relationships with counterparties—buying and selling power—to execute the portfolio strategy aimed at value creation while mitigating risks. Working as a trader, you will: * Maintain relationships with market participants * Identify and integrate new participants to improve liquidity * Propose new transactions based on price and liquidity forecasts * Communicate key market events and movements that may increase volatility * Submit financial documents to request approval of new limits or credit lines with counterparties * Participate in commercial meetings and industry events * Prepare presentations for weekly meetings **Qualifications** ----------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or Business Administration; * Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Finance; * More than 2 years of relevant experience; * Preferred: Market Operator Certification issued by CCEE/ABRACEEL; * Intermediate English proficiency. **Location** -----------------
