WHICH TYPES OF FABRICS CAN BE USED WITH THE MAQUINATEC THERMAL PRESS? For sublimation, fabrics must consist of 100% polyester or polyamide. If the fabric is a blend—for example, PV (68% polyester, 32% viscose)—68% of the color will transfer onto the fabric. This rule applies to other blended fabrics sharing the same base composition. For transfer printing, any fabric type may be used, provided the correct paper and ink are selected for the process; our thermal press is fully compatible.
