If you believe in a more conscious future and want to help build it with us, **come make a difference at Grendene!** **Join us on this journey!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Engage interface departments and oversee internal audits, managing the action plans for key clients; * Analyze monitoring reports on waste, domestic wastewater, industrial effluent, surface water, atmospheric emissions, and environmental noise, defining corrective actions in case of anomalies to support decision-making; * Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements related to environment, occupational health, and safety by identifying relevant laws and regulatory standards, and engaging responsible parties across each unit in cases of non-conformities; * Manage the selection and evaluation of environmental service providers—including waste management, treatment, disposal, effluent handling, and atmospheric emission control—conducting audits to ensure adherence to company standards; * Monitor environmental licensing processes for all units, verifying conditions and restrictions of each license, and engaging responsible parties in cases of non-conformities; * Develop and present suggestions for educational initiatives and programs to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable development; * Conduct surveys and monitor environmental, occupational health, and safety programs, ensuring required actions are implemented; * Provide technical and operational guidance to the work team and other functions involved in processes within the scope of responsibility (maintenance and usage); * Propose process improvements within the scope of responsibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or related fields. * Postgraduate studies in environmental areas will be an advantage. * Lean Six Sigma certification will be an advantage. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Basic or Advanced English proficiency will be an advantage. **Additional Information** ******Location: Grendene \- Crato** Our story has been built over 50 years, driven by simplicity and collaboration—by hands that, at every step, imprint their love for everything they do!
