Through our broad range of activities, we play a fundamental role in the collective organization of society and in shaping citizens’ living environments worldwide. **Job Description** **Position Objective** Serve as the technical reference for coordinating, developing, and validating engineering projects in the sanitation sector, providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams while ensuring delivery excellence, regulatory compliance, and adherence to contractual, operational, and regulatory requirements of projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and validate conceptual studies, basic designs, and detailed engineering designs for water supply systems, wastewater collection systems, pumping stations, transmission lines, collector networks, booster lines, and other sanitation-related works. * Ensure technical compliance with **ABNT** standards, **NTS Sabesp**, and all applicable legal, environmental, regulatory, and contractual requirements. * Coordinate and provide technical guidance to teams of designers, technologists, and drafters, ensuring timely delivery, technical quality, productivity, and adherence to contracted scope. * Conduct critical analysis of existing designs, proposing appropriate technical solutions, engineering alternatives, and execution methodologies aligned with project characteristics and client needs. * Supervise engineering design development in a **BIM** environment, validating multidisciplinary models and ensuring accurate extraction of quantities, material lists, and technical documentation. * Prepare descriptive and calculation memoranda, technical opinions, material specifications, and construction method specifications. * Participate in and lead technical meetings with clients, public agencies, concessionaires, and other stakeholders, acting as the primary technical reference for the discipline. * Conduct technical site inspections, field surveys, supervision of geotechnical investigations, and analysis of geotechnical, hydrological, and environmental reports. * Support preparation of documents required for environmental licensing, water resource use permits, expropriations, easements, and land regularization, per contractual requirements. * Ensure issuance, control, and registration of **ARTs** related to performed activities. * Contribute to team technical development by disseminating best practices, design standards, and continuous process improvement. * Support strategic interface with clients and stakeholders, contributing to technical decision-making and mitigation of project risks. **Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields**. * Minimum of **10 years of proven experience** in coordination and development of medium- and large-scale sanitation projects. * Advanced proficiency in: + **AutoCAD** + **Civil 3D** + **Revit / BIM** + **Navisworks** * Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software, including: + **EPANET** + **WaterGEMS** + **SewerGEMS** + **Allievi** * In-depth knowledge of **ABNT**, **NTS Sabesp**, and contractual requirements applicable to water and wastewater projects. * Experience leading multidisciplinary teams. * Practical experience in technical interface with **public agencies, clients, and concessionaires**. * Advanced Office suite proficiency, particularly: + **Excel** + **Word** + **PowerPoint** **Desirable Requirements** * Postgraduate degree, MBA, or professional development courses in: + sanitation; + BIM; + project management; + related fields. * Experience with environmental licensing. * Experience preparing and signing **ARTs**. * Experience working on projects for **Sabesp** or major sanitation companies. * Experience in medium- and large-scale multidisciplinary projects with high technical complexity. **Technical Competencies** * Technical coordination and leadership of sanitation projects * Design of water supply and wastewater collection systems * Advanced hydraulic modeling * BIM-based design integration and validation * Preparation of descriptive and calculation memoranda * Interpretation and application of technical and regulatory standards * Technical management of multidisciplinary teams * Institutional interface with clients, concessionaires, and regulatory bodies * Technical documentation and ART management * Technical support for licensing and regularization **Additional Information** **Benefits That Value You** At Egis, we believe great work begins with a great environment.
