Carry out occupational safety activities aimed at ensuring conditions that eliminate or reduce the risk of workplace accidents, while complying with applicable legislation. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Implement onboarding and routine occupational safety training programs; * Conduct daily safety briefings with the team; * Distribute and mandate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers; * Collaborate on building modification projects or new company installations; * Identify and analyze causes of occupational diseases and the environmental conditions in which they occurred; * Promote campaigns, lectures, and other forms of training; * Collaborate with the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA), reviewing its observations and proposals; * Develop plans to control the effects of catastrophes; * Assess workplace accident cases, accompanying injured workers to receive appropriate medical care; * Analyze safety management system (SMS) reports and programs; * Support SIPAT by organizing necessary activities and resources; * Collect and analyze workplace accident, occupational disease, and work-related illness statistics, examining their causes and severity; * Manage all procedures related to workplace accidents, including Accident Communication Forms (CAT), absences, etc.; * Verify whether SMS practices comply with ISO and OHSAS certifications through indicators, targets, and audits; * Monitor internal and external audits; * Fulfill SMS requirements during operational start-ups, presenting required legal documentation; * Monitor and supervise activities performed by occupational safety technicians assigned to operational bases. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Occupational Safety Technician course. * Registration with the Ministry of Labor; * Experience in the field of Occupational Safety; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * A valid driver’s license is required for business travel.
