Perform preparation and administration of medications, and venous punctures ###### **São Paulo, SP****The company accepts applications from São Paulo and nearby cities** ###### **Nursing Assistant/** **Operational** ###### **To be determined** ###### **CLT employment regime** **Job Details** -------------------- **Requirements:** --------------- * Education: Completed High School \+ completed Nursing Assistant or Technician course; * Council registration or specific certifications (when required): Active Coren registration; * Experience: Knowledge and practical experience in the field; **Responsibilities:** --------------- Participate in shift handover; Admit patients to the examination unit; Review patient records and physician orders; Implement protocols for prior examinations related to the current examination; Collect clinical history and medical background; Provide instructions regarding the procedure; Provide nursing assistance to patients during procedures and assist physicians as needed; Prepare and administer medications via the following routes: topical, otic, ophthalmic, oral (VO), intramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV) (peripheral catheter, central catheter, PICC), subcutaneous (SC), enteral/gastric/gastrostomy tube, vaginal, and rectal; Perform venous punctures; Accurately complete all forms relevant to the patient’s medical record and institutional documentation, and record all nursing care provided to the patient; Dispose of sharps appropriately, collect materials, Package and register anatomical-pathological specimens, requesting verification and signature by the nurse; Check vital signs, capillary blood glucose, and anthropometric measurements; Monitor the nursing station refrigerator (conditions, cleanliness, temperature control, maintenance); Deliver educational plan instructions to patients, family members, and companions; Manage oxygen therapy: inhalation, O2 cannula, nebulizer mask, Venturi mask, CPAP; Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) during adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); Insert, manage, and remove gastric/rectal tubes; Operate/program infusion pumps and contrast injector pumps; Transport patients; Perform suctioning of airways, endotracheal tubes, and tracheostomies as needed; Perform electrocardiograms (ECG); Provide post-mortem nursing care; Maintain safe and appropriate environmental conditions to ensure patient and interdisciplinary team safety and well-being; Assist nurses in training new staff; Assist nurses in managing supplies and inventory within the unit; Discharge patients to home or their originating department upon physician authorization (if required); Keep patients informed about delays in procedure scheduling, when applicable; Carry out all nursing-related controls and cleaning tasks within the unit, as specified in quality documents; Access quality documents via the system; Record departmental non-conformities; In the endoscopy unit: Clean endoscopic instruments and equipment; Perform validation tests for sterilization processes; Monitor sterilization expiration dates for materials; Operate washer-disinfector equipment; In the cardiology unit: Apply and remove Holter monitors and event recorders; Support transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, treadmill testing, and standard echocardiography exams; Perform electrocardiogram (ECG) exams; In the interventional radiology unit: Support and assist with mammography, ultrasound, and computed tomography exams; **Additional Information:** ----------------------- * Work location: South Zone; * Work schedule: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM and 1:00 PM–7:00 PM (6x1 rotation); * Availability for training: Morning **Requirements** -------------- ### **Minimum Education** Completed Vocational High School **Benefits** -------------- Medical assistance Dental assistance Partnership agreements with companies Cafeteria Life insurance Transportation allowance Product discounts Meal allowance ### **About Rede D'Or** Founded in 1977 as “Cardiolab”, Rede D'Or currently operates 75 owned hospitals and 3 managed hospitals, plus 55 oncology clinics across the states of RJ, SP, MG, PE, BA, MA, SE, CE, AL, PB, PR, MS, PA, and DF.
