Job Summary: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment to ensure safety and full operational functionality. Key Highlights: 1. Perform mechanical maintenance on power generation plant equipment. 2. Conduct failure analysis and routine inspections to prevent unplanned shutdowns. 3. Comply with Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental regulations. **Job Mission:** Carry out scheduled mechanical maintenance activities as defined in maintenance plans, through field inspections, interventions, and specific tests, aiming to guarantee delivery quality and timeliness. **Responsibilities:** **1\. Maintenance** Perform preventive and predictive mechanical maintenance on electrical equipment according to maintenance plans and schedules, ensuring full operational functionality and adherence to maintenance planning; **2\. Failure Analysis** Analyze and identify mechanical issues in electromechanical equipment upon request, and implement corrective action plans (corrective maintenance) to ensure full equipment functionality and preservation; **3\. Routine Inspections** Conduct routine inspections on mechanical equipment per checklists, identifying early signs of failure or issues, and raising preventive maintenance requirements to avoid unplanned shutdowns; **4\. Mechanical Isolation Operations** Request and verify mechanical isolation operations on plant equipment to ensure safety conditions required by regulatory standards, thereby safeguarding process safety; **5\. Equipment Release** Request equipment release from the Operations Center for mechanical maintenance activities, communicating and registering corrective demands to ensure proper planning of scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance; **6\. Compliance with OHS** Follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures and report any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor to safeguard physical and mental integrity; **7\. Waste Disposal** Dispose of waste generated during plant operations in accordance with waste management procedures, ensuring proper final disposal and environmental compliance; **8\. Compliance with OHS** Follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures and report any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor to safeguard physical and mental integrity; **9\. Compliance with Environment and Quality** Follow Environmental and Quality procedures to maintain and ensure the effectiveness of the company’s Management System, thereby meeting legal requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Driver's License: Category B; * Education: Completed Technical Course in Mechanics; * Willingness to travel; * Residency in Cataguases/MG **Desirable:** * Prior experience and knowledge in hydroelectric power plants. **Technical Knowledge:** * Intermediate Microsoft Office suite; * Basic computer skills; * Predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on power generation plant equipment; * NR 10, 11, 12, 33, and 35 regulations; * Power generation plant equipment, substations, and transmission lines (generators, voltage and speed regulators, current transformers, potential transformers, circuit breakers, lightning arresters, cables, concrete and metallic transmission line structures); * Interpretation of single-line and three-line diagrams (basic knowledge); * Basic understanding of electrical quantities (e.g., voltage, current, frequency, and power); * Use of multimeters and voltage detectors; * Maintenance management systems (SISMETRO); * Supervisory control systems.
