Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanic to perform predictive, preventive, and corrective mechanical maintenance on industrial machines and equipment, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair of faults. Participate in the development of technical procedures and suggest improvements. Team Overview and Job Responsibilities We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for performing predictive, preventive, and corrective mechanical maintenance on industrial machines and equipment, inspecting and diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and component replacements, performing adjustments and component replacements, using tools, machines, and measuring and control instruments, in accordance with technical specifications, standards, and quality, safety, and environmental standards, as well as established policies, guidelines, strategies, and legislation. Your focus will be on the following activities: 1. Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective mechanical maintenance on industrial machines and equipment, in accordance with specifications, technical standards, procedures, quality, safety, and environmental regulations. 2. Perform mechanical maintenance in accordance with internal technical procedures or equipment manufacturer instructions, using specific measuring and control tools, machines, and instruments. 3. Inspect equipment to identify mechanical faults or other anomalies occurring in machines and equipment, and carry out the indicated repairs in each case. 4. Verify results of completed services to ensure proper functionality under required conditions. 5. Participate in modifications and adjustments to machines and equipment, assisting in the interpretation of sketches, technical drawings, and specific manuals. 6. Participate in developing technical procedures for maintenance services, as well as suggesting continuous improvements to machines, instruments, and systems. 7. Maintain updated technical documentation and reports to support investigations and various studies. 8. Participate in preparing reports documenting technical data and information obtained from inspections and evaluations of relevant events, contributing to improvement of equipment and machines. 9. Ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment in the area. 10. Ensure compliance with maintenance, cleaning, and hygiene procedures in the workplace, machines, and equipment, and guide third parties in adhering to safety, discipline, accident prevention, environmental, and quality procedures.
