Job Summary: Assist in quality control of asphalt binders by conducting laboratory tests and supporting the formulation of asphalt mixtures, as well as performing general laboratory support activities. General laboratory support activities **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in quality control of asphalt binders by performing laboratory tests such as: Saybolt-Furol Viscosity, Sedimentation, Sieve Analysis, Cement Mixing, Particle Charge, pH, Distillation, Demulsibility, Penetration, Ductility, Softening Point, Brookfield Viscosity, and Elastic Recovery; * Assist in aggregate characterization (gradation, shape index, sand equivalent, specific gravity, among others); * Support asphalt mixture formulation: CBUQ, Cold Microsurfacing, Surface Treatments, Dust Control Treatments, Cold Pre-mixed Asphalt Concrete, Asphalt Slurries, etc.; * Populate quality control spreadsheets for products; * Perform cleaning and preparation of equipment, glassware, and laboratory materials; * Prepare solutions and measuring instruments; * Carry out general laboratory support activities; * Organize work in accordance with safety, occupational health, and environmental protection standards; * Perform work at heights exceeding 2 meters. **Remuneration:** * R$ 1.800,00 + 30% hazard allowance (total of R$ 2.340,00); * After 90 days: R$ 2.000,00 + 30% hazard allowance (total of R$ 2.600,00). **Benefits:** * On-site meals; * Basic food basket worth R$ 100.00; * Health insurance; * Fuel allowance. **Requirements:** * Technical course in Chemistry or related fields.
