Participate in Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement. **Date:** Jan 26, 2026 **Location:** Maringa, PR, BR, 87065\-090 **Company:** Aptar Group **Summary Description** Responsible for performing all CAD (Computer-Aided Design) activities within the department, including electrode modeling for EDM, process and work coordinate definition, preparation of technical drawings for parts, molds, machines, fixtures, and equipment, as well as detailing dimensional control plans. **Detailed Description** * Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using modeling software, ensuring compliance with Aptar standards; * Provide support to the Tooling Machining and Quality departments, ensuring smooth process execution; * Model and remove electrodes according to component specifications, applying required working dimensions (gap); * Review and update existing drawings, meeting minimum quality requirements; * Convert physical models into mathematical models (3D and 2D) with measurements and tolerances, using modeling software and measurement instruments; * Perform reverse engineering to generate 3D drawings from physical parts, ensuring quality; * Define process plans for electrode usage on EDM machines and zero-point setup on machining centers; * Provide coordinate support for CNC lathe machining profiles; * Prepare dimensional control plans for measuring machined components; * Provide technical support to machining, assembly, and mold engineering departments, collaborating on technical solutions; * Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and suppliers; * Maintain records of drawing changes per Change Management procedures; * Participate in Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement of molds and processes; * Comply with GMP regulations and report risks to food packaging safety; * Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of the Integrated Management System; * Ensure stability of processes under responsibility, guaranteeing results compliant with requirements; * Report occupational health and safety risks to leadership; * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, reducing occupational risks and environmental impacts; * Attend training sessions and comply with requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000, LANDFILL FREE, and other applicable regulations. **Specific Knowledge** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, or Machining Mechanics; * Bachelor’s degree in the above fields (preferred); * Proven experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro\-E, etc.); * Knowledge of plastic molds (preferred); * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); * Intermediate English.
