




Job Summary: The professional will perform instrumentation and automation system installations, calibrations, and maintenance, ensuring equipment functionality and accuracy. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to support electrical and automation activities Performs high-complexity technical installations across the plant. Conducts inspections, checklists, and controller installations on panels; performs control loop diagnostics and tuning, configuration, maintenance, and verification of general instrumentation. Performs instrument calibration and metrological measurement control, and provides technical guidance to less-experienced professionals. Understands units of measurement and conversions. Supports electrical activities during routine tasks such as lockout/tagout (LOTO), energizing, and de-energizing. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive and corrective equipment calibration, always comparing against a calibrated standard with valid, traceable certification. * Install electrical cables of various cross-sections (gauges) within their respective organized infrastructures, separated from communication cables such as multi-pair and optical fiber cables. * Perform panel and power source lockout (LOTO) procedures whenever requested—during scheduled shutdowns, off-season periods, or maintenance activities. Respond to emergency calls at company facilities, energize and de-energize equipment, assess site conditions, and assist in executing electrical maintenance. * Perform predictive, preventive, and/or corrective maintenance on measurement instruments such as transmitters, pH meters, conductivity meters, sensors, controllers, indicators, and others. * Inspect and guide boiler technicians’ activities to recommend optimal positioning of instrumentation equipment within the sector. * Carry out electro-electronic, infrastructure, cabling, and pneumatic instrumentation installations. * Perform maintenance in the telephony area. * Supervise metrological activities. * Calibration, issuance, and interpretation of certificates. * Develop instrumentation management schedules. * Adjust PID parameters of process control loops, fine-tune process variables, and seal impulse tap points. * Maintain automation panel controllers; read I/O modules, switches, and automation network converters. * Perform maintenance and diagnostics on optical fiber-based automation network communications. * Use PPE designated for the role and work area. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, adhering to safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (5S) standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** Experience: Four years of experience. Academic Qualification: Completed high school or technical education. Specific Knowledge: Experience in instrumentation and industrial electrical systems.
