MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry out production process optimization tasks to enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve quality and safety, define specification limits for raw materials and products, minimize environmental impacts, thereby contributing to increased corporate competitiveness. Gain comprehensive understanding of production processes, evaluating flow rates, pressures, temperatures, energy balances, mass balances, and energy matrices—from limestone extraction through final processing—analyzing cause-and-effect relationships, identifying significant variables and their impacts on performance indicators to obtain necessary information for performance evaluation and development of improvement proposals. Seek new solutions by identifying best practices, exchanging experiences across company units as well as with suppliers and customers, reviewing technical articles, and analyzing and participating in new projects. Monitor quality throughout the production process by receiving and verifying laboratory-issued analytical reports, performing specific sampling and analyses, checking chemical contents, comparing against predefined standards at all stages, communicating discrepancies to relevant departments, and aiming for corrections or alternative allocation to other customers or products. Manage production process routines, including developing and monitoring key performance indicators through consolidating and evaluating data, measurement results, and completed work, enabling timely interventions. Monitor kiln and auxiliary plant operations, evaluating actions taken by the production team and proactively proposing corrective actions for anomalies detected in operating procedures, thus avoiding adverse impacts on production targets, quality, and health, safety, and environmental standards. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Practical experience and knowledge of lime or cement manufacturing processes. Knowledge of combustion theory and flame dynamics. Knowledge of energy and mass balance principles. Knowledge of calcination kinetics and limestone quality. Knowledge of refractory brick installation and use of refractory bricks and mortars.
