We are seeking a **Civil Firefighter** to support physical and asset security, accident prevention, and emergency response in high-complexity environments such as hospital and university settings. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitoring and inspection of fire protection and suppression systems (e.g., fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, fire-rated doors); * Emergency response: first aid, rescue, and area evacuation; * Participation in emergency drills and brigade training sessions; * Support for preventive and educational activities with staff, students, and patients; * Preparation of inspection reports and incident records; * Oversight of construction projects, service interventions, or situations involving elevated risk, as required; * Support during institutional events with public attendance; * Other duties related to this position and department. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education; * Certification as a **Civil Firefighter**, valid and officially recognized (in accordance with the Fire Department’s Technical Standards); * Knowledge of safety regulations (Normas Regulamentadoras – NRs), especially NR-23 and NR-33; * Prior experience in this role; * Completion of a **First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS)** course is considered an advantage; * Availability to work rotating shifts or on rotating schedules. **Additional Information** * Permanent position; * **Working Hours:** 180 hours per month; * **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, On-site Meals, Health Insurance; * **Salary + Hazard Pay**. #### **Want to work at one of Sorocaba’s and the region’s top hospitals?
