Job Title SM 3219 \- TECHNICIAN I (AUTOMATION) Academic Qualifications A completed technical course is required, preferably in Industrial Automation, Electrotechnology, or Mechatronics. Courses in electrical control systems, instrumentation, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) will be considered advantageous. Additionally, ongoing undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering are also considered advantageous. Professional Experience * Experience in assembly, installation, and maintenance of industrial automation electrical panels and industrial machinery. * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machines and equipment. * Knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, electrical control systems, and industrial drives. * Familiarity with PLCs, frequency inverters, sensors, industrial networks, and supervisory control systems is desirable. 1st Area of Knowledge * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, electrical control systems, and industrial drives. * Familiarity with PLCs, industrial instrumentation, industrial networks, and supervisory control systems is desirable. * Familiarity with software such as TIA Portal, Studio 5000, EPLAN, and AutoCAD Electrical is desirable.
