We’re seeking a **Senior Site Reliability Engineer** to support and evolve our cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and observability practices. This person will serve as the third-level technical support for the support team, assist and lead infrastructure incidents, actively monitor production environments, and continuously improve our observability and incident prevention practices. **Responsibilities and Duties**How this person works at Goomer In practice, you will be responsible for: * Acting as third-level technical support for infrastructure- and production-related incidents; * Supporting squads in maintaining the infrastructure required for their services; * Actively responding to production incidents, leading troubleshooting and mitigation; * Collaborating in critical production situations, participating in root cause analysis (Post Mortem); * Continuously monitoring our environments and proposing preventive improvements; * Enhancing metrics, dashboards, and monitoring to increase service reliability; * Implementing automation to eliminate recurrence of operational issues; * Contributing to continuous improvement of service resilience, scalability, and availability; * Supporting implementation and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform / CloudFormation); * Administering cloud and containerized environments (ECS / EKS). **Requirements and Qualifications**What ingredients does your recipe need to succeed? To excel in this role, we expect you to have: * Practical experience with AWS; * Experience with container orchestration (ECS; EKS is a plus); * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation); * Hands-on experience troubleshooting production environments; * Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Loki, etc.); * Linux knowledge (administration and troubleshooting); * Networking and protocol knowledge (Route53, AWS ALB, VPC, Security Groups, TCP, HTTP, DNS); * Experience in critical and high-availability environments; * Familiarity with Agile methodologies within a DevOps culture; * Mindset oriented toward automation and continuous improvement; * Availability to work from **Tuesday to Saturday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (with a 1-hour break).** The cherry on top Ingredients that aren’t mandatory but can make your recipe even more complete: * Experience with EKS; * Experience defining and tracking SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets; * Experience with microservices-oriented architecture; * Knowledge of an automation language (Shell Script, Python, or Go); * Experience with multi-account AWS environments; * Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases; * Experience administering CDN.
