Embedded Software Development Engineer What We Are Looking For?* Candidates passionate about technology and committed to the quality of their deliverables; * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or related fields); * Experience developing embedded software with a focus on the C programming language, preferably for automotive applications; * Experience with microcontrollers, peripherals, sensors, memory, Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), emulators, debuggers, and programmers; * Desired knowledge of communication protocols and networks such as GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, CAN, among others; * Desired knowledge of software development methodologies and processes, as well as familiarity with Requirements and Issue Management Tools (JIRA and Trac) and Version Control Systems (SVN, Git). Responsibilities:* Develop and maintain embedded software for microcontrollers, primarily using the C programming language; * Document source code and any other outputs resulting from software development activities to comply with the company’s adopted processes.
