Would you like to join us in the **Universe of Knowledge?** To learn more about **Vitru** and its brands Unicesumar and Uniasselvi, visit our website: https://www.vitru.com.br/. **Job Title: Author-Professor | Content Curation and Validation - EMBEDDED SYSTEMS AND IOT - EdTech | Vitru** Vitru Educação is seeking an Author-Professor to perform technical review, academic validation, and conceptual curation for the discipline EMBEDDED SYSTEMS AND IOT within the Postgraduate EAD program in Electronic and Applied Robotics Engineering. **ABOUT THE ROLE:** In this opportunity, core content is developed internally by our team, and the Author-Professor’s role is to ensure theoretical rigor, scientific currency, and pedagogical alignment, covering: **Content Curation and Validation** * Technical review of 3 topics (20–30 pages each) * Analysis of conceptual currency, language, and suitability for target audience * Verification and possible supplementation of references * Direct implementation of revisions in the material (not merely suggestions) **Assessment and Supplementary Activities** * Validation of 3 self-study questions per topic * Review and validation of 15 objective questions per topic * Validation of supplementary materials (1 case study + 10 questions) **Audiovisual Content** * Validation of scripts and recording of 3 video lectures (10–15 minutes each) **COURSE SYLLABUS:** **Fundamentals of ARM and RISC-V processor architecture, firmware development in C/C++ and basic hardware design. Applications of real-time operating systems (RTOS) for sensor and actuator control, IoT connectivity (MQTT, LoRaWAN), wireless sensor networks and connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), and prototyping with ESP32 and Raspberry Pi. Applications in smart cities, Industry 4.0, agribusiness, and healthcare. Trends in IoT and cyber-physical systems.** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Graduate degree (lato or stricto sensu) – Specialization, Master’s, or Doctorate in the discipline’s field*. * Familiarity with Google Docs and/or Word. * Organizational skills, deadline management, and writing clarity. * Prior experience producing books or educational materials will be considered an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
