Job Summary: We are seeking a Design Engineer to create and develop projects from conception to final delivery, interpreting civil and architectural engineering drawings and developing shoring and scaffolding solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Full-scope involvement: from project conception to final delivery. 2. Development of innovative solutions for shoring and scaffolding. 3. Technical site visits and construction supervision for project optimization. Design Engineer Position Description: We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our team. The professional will be responsible for creating and developing projects of various types, covering the entire scope from conception to final delivery. Responsibilities: • Assist in organizing the technical team to improve performance and productivity; • Interpret civil and architectural engineering drawings; understand with the client the execution method and phasing for civil and industrial construction projects; • Develop shoring, reshoring, column and beam bracing, facade scaffolding, tubular scaffolding, and multidirectional scaffolding access solutions; • Draft our solutions in compliance with Brazilian standards and company specifications; • Modify, redraw, and update existing drawings according to client requirements; • Conduct surveys and measurements of buildings, spaces, and locations as necessary for subsequent drawing execution; • Prepare calculation memos and technical reports regarding projects developed by the department; • Perform tasks pertinent to the field of expertise using appropriate equipment and software; • Perform other related tasks of equivalent difficulty level when requested; • Visit and supervise construction sites, analyzing with clients the optimal selection and application of equipment; • Conduct technical visits for budget estimation purposes; • Visit sites to confirm feasibility of developed executive projects; • Guide and verify equipment assembly and usage; • On-site technical training; • Prepare technical visit reports as requested by supervisors to maintain proper tracking; • Support management on matters inherent to the area of expertise, reporting and discussing issues and irregularities to assist in defining procedures and actions; • Perform departmental activities in accordance with the company's quality program procedures to meet certification requirements and improve productivity metrics; • Assist in creating and developing technical processes and documents per managerial guidance; • Support the orientation of technical staff at construction sites regarding equipment and shoring assembly to optimize project execution as planned; • Register documents for integration into our clients' digital platforms; • Submit information for preparation of monthly reports on all activities performed by the technical department; Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; * Prior experience as a Design Engineer on medium- to large-scale projects; * Advanced proficiency in technical drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD), structural calculation tools, and multidirectional scaffolding systems; * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly and effectively; * Organized, proactive, results-oriented, analytical, dynamic, logical, flexible, creative, self-motivated, punctual, willing to travel, and hold a Brazilian driver's license (Category B).
