Job Summary: A specialized technical draftsman in topography responsible for creating and interpreting topographic maps, supporting both the technical team and clients. Key Highlights: 1. A technical draftsman specialized in topography, responsible for creating and interpreting topographic maps based on field-collected data. The professional will directly support the technical team by converting information obtained from topographic surveys into organized and standardized technical drawings delivered to clients. The selected candidate must perform tasks related to interpretation and development of technical drawings, including: * Interpreting point clouds acquired in the field; * Reading and analyzing topographic sketches; * Preparing complete topographic maps; * Correctly connecting and interpreting surveyed points; * Applying technical drawing standards, including: * Scales; * Dimensioning; * Font standardization; * Technical symbology. The professional must transform field-collected technical data into a coherent and technically accurate graphical representation of reality, ensuring that the final map reflects, as faithfully as possible, the actual terrain or surveyed area. Required Tools and Technical Knowledge Primary Software * Civil 3D (Autodesk) Although part of the same family as AutoCAD, Civil 3D offers specific functionalities for engineering and topography, such as: * Working with georeferenced datasets; * Integration with satellite imagery; * Spatial analysis; * Surface and volume generation. Additionally, the professional may perform: * Volume calculations; * Organization of surveyors’ field notebooks; * Preparation of technical documents for client delivery. Expected Behavioral Competencies Beyond technical proficiency, the professional must demonstrate: * Strong technical interpretation ability; * Organization and attention to detail; * Clear communication with the field team (surveyors); * Ability to resolve technical questions directly with the operational team. It was also emphasized that, in certain situations, the professional may interact directly with clients; therefore, maintaining a professional demeanor, courtesy, and appropriate communication skills is essential. It was further stressed that client relations must be handled carefully, as maintaining commercial relationships is considered strategic for the company. Desired Professional Qualification The ideal qualification for this position is: Technical Degree in Surveying This qualification is considered the most comprehensive for the role, covering: * Topographic surveying; * Interpretation of field data; * Preparation of topographic maps; * Knowledge of equipment and methodologies used in the field. Candidates with the following qualifications may also be considered: * Technical Degree in Building Construction, provided they have experience in topography; * Technical Draftsperson or Designer, with experience in technical drawing within civil construction; * Professionals with proven experience in CAD applied to topography. Required Professional Experience The desired profile is that of a professional with sufficient experience to work autonomously. * 1 to 2 years of experience in the field are sufficient to master work methods and routines; Selected candidates will undergo a practical technical drafting test lasting approximately 1 to 2 hours. The purpose of the test is to assess: * Sketch interpretation; * Drawing organization; * Correct application of technical standards; * Graphical representation coherence.
