Process Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Process Engineer focused on the role of vEFK (Responsible Electrical Specialist), to serve as the primary technical reference for high-voltage technology applied to hybrid and electric vehicles, ensuring strict adherence to operational safety standards and compliance with current norms and regulations. The role will cover areas responsible for developing, planning, managing, and evaluating production processes related to vehicle electrical and electronic systems—both for vehicles in production and for new projects—overseeing activities from conception through implementation on the assembly line, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation at every stage of the process. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop and implement procedures and instructions for high-voltage work on hybrid and electric vehicles; * Assess risks and define safety measures in production processes and areas related to electrified vehicles; * Select and specify tools, PPE, and auxiliary equipment for high-voltage activities; * Plan and supervise technical activities involving HEV/BEV vehicles and their components; * Train and qualify personnel for high-voltage work (HVT/HVE), including training and certification; * Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, guaranteeing safety and quality in processes; * Create and standardize processes and standards across departments for vehicle electrification; * Perform tests, inspections, and audits on high-voltage vehicles and components, ensuring control and reliability. **Requirements and qualifications** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, or related fields; Active registration with CREA; Intermediate English proficiency; advanced level is considered an advantage; Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations (NR10, NR12, DGUV, etc.); Familiarity with automotive production processes and integration of electrical systems; Ability to develop technical instructions, procedures, and standards; Experience conducting tests, inspections, and audits on HV systems; Desirable: certification or experience as vEFK or equivalent; Desirable: German language proficiency starting at intermediate level. **Additional information** **Work location:** São Bernardo do Campo/SP On-site work model **Benefits:** Vehicle purchase discount Gympass On-site parking \- free Chartered bus service Annual PPR bonus On-site cafeteria Meal allowance Health insurance plan Private pension plan Life insurance plan Zenklub \- mental health and emotional well-being platform Volkswagen is part of Brazilians' lives, hearts, and garages.
