Also involved in manufacturing wooden crates for packing engines, transmissions, and large-sized components. * Sort parts according to orders and shipping manifests. * Package small, medium, and large auto parts. * Manufacture wooden crates and structures for transporting engines, transmissions, and other heavy components. * Secure and protect parts using bubble wrap, cardboard, strapping, foam, and other materials. * Label packages with shipping labels and related information. * Assist in loading and unloading goods. * Organize inventory and the shipping area. * Inspect parts prior to shipment to prevent damage and errors. * Use manual and electric tools (screwdrivers, saws, hammers, pneumatic staplers, etc.). * Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety.
