**Responsibilities and duties**
Assist in the installation and maintenance of electromechanical machines and equipment such as: motors, pumps, compressors, electrical panels, fans, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Diagnose failures, replace components, adjust systems, and ensure proper equipment operation. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly and disassembly using specialized tools and adhering to technical and safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams. Monitor machine and installation performance, analyzing vibration, temperature, electrical current, etc. Operate and provide technical support for PLCs, sensors, actuators, and human-machine interfaces (HMIs). Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and logs of replaced parts. Apply occupational safety regulations (e.g., NR-10, NR-12) and environmental regulations. Support engineers and other technicians in projects and operational improvements.
**Requirements and qualifications**
Technical high school diploma in electromechanics or electrotechnology. Registration with the relevant professional council. Driver’s license (CNH) preferred.
* Completed high school.
* Technical course in Electromechanics, Electrotechnology, or related fields.
* Basic knowledge of PLCs, inverters, control valves, integrated instrumentation, technical drawings, and industrial electrical installations and/or maintenance.
* Knowledge of medium- and high-voltage installations is desirable.
* Minimum six months of experience in this role or similar positions.
**Additional information**
A completed technical course in Electromechanics, Electrotechnology, or related fields, and CNH Category B are required.
