Job Summary: Technical professional responsible for maintenance controls, improvement project management, implementation of preventive maintenance contracts, and resolution of engineering issues. Contribution to cost optimization and investment planning **What We Expect From You:** * Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Control and Automation, with a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or equivalent. * Knowledge of maintenance for low-voltage electrical power and control installations (distribution panels, stabilized power supply, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), lighting, and low-voltage main distribution boards – QGBTs). * Familiarity with standards NBR 5410, 5419, 14039, NR 10, and NR06. Operation and maintenance of electrical substations and primary switchgear. Operation and maintenance of diesel-powered generator sets. Leadership of maintenance teams in complex building maintenance activities. * Knowledge of operation and maintenance of direct and indirect air conditioning systems (chillers, fan-coils, rooftop units, split systems, and PMOC). * Operation and maintenance of fire protection equipment: sprinklers, motor-pumps, hydrants, emergency lighting, and electronic fire alarm central systems with smoke detection. * Basic Electrical Installation Safety Training (NR 10). * Complementary SEP (Electrical Power System Safety) training. * Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics training. * Maintenance Management and Planning training (TPM, PCM, and RCM). **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Conducts technical maintenance controls for existing systems, covering all installed disciplines, accurately identifying risks and proposing corrective actions based on Brazilian standards, project specifications, and maintenance techniques (TPM, RCM, and PCM). * Establishes action plans to reduce risks in collaboration with store / distribution center resident teams. * Contributes to the comfort and safety of our internal and external customers by executing store facility improvement projects (electrical, air, ventilation, PCI, and specialized lighting), managing activity planning, project analysis and scheduling, providing field technical supervision during execution, and ensuring high-quality service acceptance — respecting the original design, deadlines, budget, and internal LEROY MERLIN, Brazilian, and international standards. * Implements mandatory preventive maintenance contracts, taking responsibility for Civil, Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, Generator, Air Conditioning, and Mobility Equipment contracts. * Continuously supports capacity building and structuring of store-based maintenance service teams, enhancing team expertise in maintenance topics and consolidating a culture of prevention, safety, and comfort. * Plans and controls maintenance activities, monitoring adherence to the LMB Maintenance Program schedule while respecting deadlines and quality requirements. * Implements, jointly with store teams and contracted companies, maintenance procedures (reports, TAGs, and service orders), tools and work instruments, as well as workshop and utility area organization — all in compliance with LEROY MERLIN standards. * Resolves engineering issues — emergency, chronic, or intermittent (operational or personnel safety-related) — and continuously reduces failure frequency in their region (using RCM, TPM, and PCM tools), technically leading action plans with store teams and maintenance companies to resolve failures impacting sales, personnel safety, and assets. * Supports the Maintenance Manager in planning LMB’s annual engineering investments. * Identifies retrofit or regulatory compliance needs for facilities per Brazilian standards, including technical specifications, budget estimates, and investment justifications. * Contributes to reducing corrective maintenance costs and spare parts delivery lead times through evaluation and certification of new regional suppliers for maintenance contracts, implementing new methodologies for supply, procurement of maintenance materials, and spare parts provision, as well as full execution of planned preventive maintenance.
