Maintenance Planning (MPC) team and Component Reliability Engineering for Mining (Heavy Mobile Equipment and Processing Plant) * Plan, schedule, and control maintenance activities in internal and external workshops * Define scopes for component overhauls and oversee technical inspections of critical components, always seeking a balance between technical and financial considerations * Lead, together with the team, loss analyses, chronic problem investigations, and strategic maintenance performance indicator reviews, applying appropriate methodologies to maximize component efficiency * Provide technical support to Plant Maintenance teams (Mechanical and Electrical) and Plant Operations teams (Operations and Processes) regarding reliability, maintainability, and component availability strategies * Study, analyze, and recommend — whenever necessary — to operational teams the adoption of new technologies, best maintenance practices, and component monitoring methods * Conduct / participate in Risk Management studies (People, Assets, Processes), proposing appropriate controls and applying engineering best practices for monitoring, mitigation, or elimination of risks * Be responsible for developing / reviewing component maintenance strategies, jointly proposing — with area Reliability Engineering teams — inspection techniques (Sensitive, Predictive, Detective) and maintenance techniques aligned with component criticality * Support Maintenance Planning and Operational teams in developing the Medium-Term Maintenance Plan (52-Week Map) for components * Be responsible for Spares / Reserve Stock and Operational Warranty Items strategy concerning components and peripherals * Develop and manage the multi-year budget (Opex) for the area, and conduct budgetary studies for Maintenance areas (Mobile Equipment, Plant Mechanical, and Site Electrical) * Participate in the multi-year Capital Expenditure (Capex) budget, recommending improvement projects that support the business strategy * Support Engineering teams in initial asset control for projects led by Operations, as well as for current and capital projects * Support Electrical and Mechanical
