Job Summary: The Store Attendant is responsible for verifying, sorting, labeling, loading, organizing, and cleaning the department, as well as safeguarding products, serving customers, and recommending products. Access to publisher promotional items The Store Attendant role begins with product verification, sorting and classification, labeling, loading products, locating items, checking for pending issues and stock shortages, organizing and maintaining daily cleanliness of the assigned department, safeguarding products, appropriately serving customers, processing returns (collecting returned items), recommending one product weekly via review, and other related duties. The candidate will participate in monthly and ongoing training sessions with publishers to gain deeper knowledge of book content, as well as access special book discounts and publisher promotional items.
