Engage with listeners (reading messages, phone/social media participation) and coordinate with editing, sound design, and reporting teams—managing timing, jingle insertions, background music, and commercial breaks during live broadcasts. Operate audio mixing consoles and equipment. Adjust volume levels, audio channels, microphones, VU meters, insert jingles, music, announcements, and hybrid calls for telephone interviews, while monitoring signal levels and audio returns during live transmissions. Support programming schedule and lineup organization. Assist in assembling the journalistic programming schedule, organize bulletin, interview, and segment rotations, and update internal program timelines. Support programming coordination. Suggest schedule adjustments, participate in planning meetings, and provide feedback on audience metrics, program dynamics, and technical requirements.
