Opportunity for growth within the field We are looking for an organized and proactive Editorial Assistant who understands the editorial process as an integrated workflow where every detail matters. At Editora Viseu, you will play a fundamental role as the bridge between authors, designers, and the final production of our books. You will not merely provide operational support, but act as a strategic facilitator—ensuring each project progresses with quality, meets deadlines, and aligns with both creative and commercial expectations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Portuguese Language and Literature, Journalism, Communications, Publishing, or related fields; Experience in text editing and/or editorial project coordination; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with mastery of standard Brazilian Portuguese; Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and concurrent deadlines; Ability to collaborate effectively with authors, designers, editors, and production teams; Meticulous attention to detail and editorial consistency. Desirable: Basic knowledge of the editorial production workflow (from manuscript to printed/digital book); Experience managing schedules and using project management tools.
