At BMG, we are driven by doing things differently and better — with integrity, simplicity, and a unique way of being: the BMG Way. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and lead data training programs for all profiles interacting with data: Data Stewards/Data Owners, Data Engineers, Data Consumers, and Developers (Transactional Systems), acting as a multiplier of the Data-Driven culture; * Monitor and enhance data governance processes, including: metadata and catalog management, data quality, access management (to data and dashboards), and master data management; * Create/update procedures, standards, data governance policies, and related processes; * Design processes and monitor execution of established data governance initiatives; * Lead the definition and optimization of data governance processes aligned with technical teams, ensuring clear communication and value generation for client-facing areas; * Participate in team agile ceremonies (SAFe/Scrum/Kanban), use Jira, and provide clarity on own activities; refine tasks; promptly and clearly identify risks and blockers; * Documentation culture: clearly document all processes, requirements, and projects developed by the Data Governance team; * Align with technical areas and business/strategic teams; * Help promote workshops and training sessions to advance BMG’s data maturity. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience promoting a data-driven culture and advancing data maturity within companies through training and workshops; * Practical experience in Data Governance processes, such as: metadata management and publishing, data quality, data stewardship, and MDM; * Experience with data catalog tools and general data management tools; * General knowledge of data ingestion processes; * Robust experience in areas involving data governance, data analysis, data manipulation, or delivering data to client-facing business areas; * Strong communication, influence, and problem-solving skills; * Prioritization sense and analytical capability; * Ability to independently manage complex activities under one’s responsibility while respecting deadlines and commitments; * Execution-oriented profile with high autonomy in activity development, ownership mindset, and strategic vision; * Demonstrated strong commitment to company- and department-level goals/OKRs; * Preferred: Experience in data migration projects to cloud (AWS experience will be considered a differentiator) and project management; * A differentiator: Intermediate SQL proficiency, enabling data extraction, transformation, and analysis, plus Power BI knowledge. \#LI\-HYBRID \#LI\-DM1 **Additional Information** **Benefits, Health and Well-being** * Health plan with no monthly fee + Telemedicine; * Dental plan with no monthly fee; * Meal and food allowance; * Life insurance; * Funeral assistance; * Private pension; * Competitive annual variable compensation (bonus); * PPR – Profit Sharing Program; * Único Skill (Free Education Benefit); * Bike rack and changing rooms; * Childcare assistance; * Internet allowance; * Quality-of-life programs; * On-site clinic; * Pregnancy program; * Extended maternity and paternity leave; * Copay exemption for pregnant women and babies up to 1 year old; * Customized Baby Kit; * Dr. BMG – Telepsychology + Telemedicine + Nutritionist + Nurse and Physical Education Specialist, extended to dependents; * PAP – Financial, legal, and psychological advisory program; * Gympass/Wellhub – Discounts at gyms; * Pharmacy network; * Fresh fruit daily; * Birthday Day Off; * Flexible dress code; * Hybrid work model.
