We are seeking a professional to support activities related to food pre-preparation, sanitation, organization, and distribution, ensuring food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and timely, responsible implementation of the school meal menu. **Responsibilities:** * Assist in food pre-preparation (washing, cutting, ingredient separation). * Support meal and snack preparation, as well as portioning, according to guidance from the kitchen/nutrition team. * Sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, countertops, and floors. * Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout all stages of food preparation and service. * Store food properly, observing preservation criteria, expiration dates, and packaging requirements. * Correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to occupational safety practices. * Assist in meal assembly and delivery, respecting scheduled times. * Care for utensils and equipment, reporting needs for replacement or maintenance. * Comply with health surveillance regulations and good food handling practices. * Follow the menu established by the nutrition team or management without unauthorized modifications. * Perform other duties relevant to the area, as directed by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Basic knowledge of good food handling practices. * Availability Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:20 PM. Occasional Saturdays, subject to prior agreement. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Completed High School. * Experience in industrial or school kitchens.
