Job Summary: A kitchen professional responsible for analyzing menus, preparing meals under supervision, assisting with service, ensuring proper food storage, and maintaining a clean work environment. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workplace \*COOK\* RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze the menu in advance, verify stock items, and request purchases from the nutritionist when necessary; Prepare meals under the nutritionist's supervision, paying attention to preparation methods, cooking techniques, time and temperature control, as well as hygiene and food safety standards; Assist in serving meals, customer service, and buffet replenishment; Ensure proper storage and preservation of food items, providing appropriate conditions to prevent spoilage or loss; Attend meetings, training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building activities whenever summoned; Weigh buffet leftovers and plate waste for recording in the restaurant’s system; Record daily temperatures of menu preparations in a specific spreadsheet in the nutritionist’s absence; Perform duties typical of a kitchen assistant, if required; Maintain a clean and organized workplace to ensure a healthy environment conducive to efficient task execution.
