Negotiate with carriers and suppliers, administering freight rate tables and contracts. Develop and optimize transportation routes, ensuring efficiency and cost reduction. Manage claims, performance indicators, and logistics costs. Lead the team responsible for scheduling, coordinating pickups, deliveries, and returns. Monitor operational execution and resolve incidents. Ensure adherence to deadlines, service quality, and operational productivity. Guarantee compliance with current transportation legislation. Previous experience as Logistics Coordinator, Transportation Supervisor, Fleet Manager, or Transportation Analyst may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities in this position. Bachelor's degree required.
