We are looking for a committed, organized, and career-oriented **Tax Assistant**, eager to progress in the accounting field. **Responsibilities:** * Record and verify incoming, outgoing, and service invoices * Calculate taxes: **Simples Nacional, ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS, IPI**, among others * Assist in filing ancillary obligations: **SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, DCTF, GIA, DEFIS**, among others * Verify withholding taxes (**IRRF, INSS, ISS**) * Organize and maintain updated tax files and documentation * Support resolution of outstanding tax matters with competent authorities * Monitor updates in tax legislation Here, you will gain direct exposure to key technical routines and acquire practical experience across various fronts of the tax department. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education * *(Preferred: pursuing or completed degree in Accounting Sciences, Administration, or related fields)* * Prior experience in an **accounting firm** * Basic knowledge of **tax legislation** * Familiarity with **accounting/tax systems** * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office (especially Excel)** * Organized profile, attentive to deadlines, and eager to learn **What We Seek:** We seek someone who wants more than just task execution: we want someone who aims to **grow, develop, and build a career in the tax field**.
