We are open to adjusting the engagement and combining it with other shift\-/seasonal work or positions with flexible periods. We are looking for someone who can inspire and guide young adults to explore technology, apply their creativity, find solutions, and carry out various innovation projects. You should have a general interest in technology and technological development, be curious, enjoy enabling people to flourish, develop practical skills, and work with technical components. You combine technical insight with practical implementation and find interdisciplinary problem-solving and co-creation exciting. Experience from a makerspace is welcome. Future energy supply, satellite\- and antenna technology are examples of current topics in various collaborative projects with the local community. Programming and website development, 3D\-printing, laser cutting, and drone use for various purposes are other examples of what the line has worked on. Job responsibilities Teaching on the Innovation\- and Technology Line Further development of the line, with the school’s makerspace as a central element Socio-pedagogical work **We are looking for you who:** Have practical skills and experience using technology and technical equipment Have education in technology, computer science, or another relevant field Have \- or wish to obtain \- pedagogical education and/or experience \- preferably from a folk high school Are positive about working with young adults Enjoy collaborating, sharing, and reflecting within a community Hold a driver’s license Svalbard experience is an advantage, and we primarily seek candidates who already have a connection to Longyearbyen.
