SUPPLIER QUALITY SUPERVISOR (Focus on Systems)

**What the area is like:** * Manage supplier quality for aircraft systems across all Embraer manufacturing sites in Brazil and abroad. **Responsibilities and duties** **What your day-to-day will look like:** * The Supplier Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring team development and performance, as well as guaranteeing that externally sourced materials and components meet Embraer’s quality standards. Key responsibilities and challenges include: * People management focused on attraction, qualification, readiness, retention, and professional performance; identification and guidance for succession planning; ensuring a safe and quality-oriented environment supported by the company’s pillars of culture, ethics, compliance, and sustainability. * Managing supplier performance across different regions of Brazil and worldwide—where processes and quality standards vary—using quality and delivery KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure product quality and reliability. * Developing, establishing, planning, and managing corrective actions related to supplier non-conformities, aiming to resolve issues, reduce costs associated with poor quality, and enhance customer satisfaction. * Developing, establishing, planning, and managing quality readiness and non-conformity prevention actions for supplier products and processes through application of quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, Control Plans, Sampling Techniques, Measurement System Analysis, and Statistical Process Control), and preparing resources related to the 6Ms (e.g., inspection planning, FAI monitoring, process qualification, technical standard analysis and approval, and personnel qualification). * Qualifying and auditing suppliers to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. * Managing crises arising from non-conformities in externally sourced products to ensure rapid resolution and minimize production impact. * Building partnerships with suppliers to promote continuous quality improvement and encourage suppliers to adopt and propose improvements. **Requirements and qualifications** **To meet this challenge, you must have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; * Advanced English proficiency for conversation, writing, and reading; * Experience in Quality and/or Development Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and/or related fields; * Experience in technical/team integration management; * Direct experience managing supplier relationships; * Willingness to travel nationally and internationally; * Experience in people management. **You’ll stand out if you have:** * Fluent English; * Spanish, German, or French proficiency for conversation, writing, and reading. **Additional information** On-site work model in São José dos Campos / SP. **Benefits:** * Life Insurance * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vaccine Benefit * Pharmacy Benefit * Wellhub * Multi-Benefit Card * On-site Cafeteria * Profit Sharing Program (PLR) * Private Pension Plan * Cooperative * EMpower (internal training and development platform) Need support with the Gupy platform?
