With corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, Experian is listed on the London Stock Exchange (EXPN) and is a constituent of the FTSE 100\. **Job Description** We are looking for an SRE Specialist to work in a modern, highly distributed, and 100% AWS-based environment, with emphasis on high availability, reliability, observability, and automation. This person will play a critical role in platform stability and the continuous evolution of our reliability engineering practices. **Qualifications** **What We’re Looking For:** * Solid experience as an SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineer in mission-critical environments * Advanced knowledge of AWS, including services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, and others * Practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management * Use of Ansible for configuration automation and orchestration * Strong experience in observability and monitoring using tools such as: + Dynatrace + Datadog * Experience with concepts including: + High availability and fault tolerance + Distributed and scalable architectures + Metrics-, logs-, and traces-based monitoring * Knowledge of Linux and advanced troubleshooting in distributed systems **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with containers and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes) * Knowledge of Chaos Engineering practices * Experience in regulated or highly critical environments * Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization **Key Responsibilities:** * Support and evolve application reliability, performance, and scalability in the AWS environment * Define, implement, and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, ensuring service high availability * Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) * Develop and maintain pipelines and automations that reduce manual intervention and increase system resilience * Proactively engage in monitoring, observability, incident response, and post-mortems to drive continuous improvement * Collaborate closely with development, architecture, and security teams to promote reliability best practices * Analyze metrics, logs, and traces to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities * Participate in on-call rotations and critical incident response processes **Additional Information** Serasa Experian is much more than you imagine.
