Our engineers work with modern technologies, agility, and software development best practices to build innovative solutions, ensure data integrity, and protect against fraud. Moreover, they collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve user experience and accelerate innovation in payment methods. **Responsibilities and Duties** *As a* **Senior Software Engineer**, *you will:* * Develop and maintain backend applications using Java SE/EE, prioritizing performance, maintainability, and security; * Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs following best practices in API design and versioning; * Use frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA, and Hibernate to build modern and resilient solutions; * Work with code versioning (Git) and automation tools such as Maven and Gradle; * Participate in code reviews, technical decision-making, and system documentation; * Write unit and integration tests focused on functional system quality; * Integrate solutions with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar. **Requirements and Qualifications** *For this challenge, we need you to:* * Have solid production experience with Java (SE/EE); * Master Spring ecosystem frameworks (Spring Boot, Security, etc.); * Have hands-on experience with relational databases and knowledge of JPA/Hibernate; * Have experience developing and consuming REST APIs; * Practice version control with Git, as well as automation with Maven or Gradle; * Understand automated testing and best practices in TDD/BDD; * Have experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ or others); * Knowledge of microservices and containers (Docker, Kubernetes); * Familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD).
