Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python and Go to design and build scalable data services and pipelines in high-volume environments. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a **Senior Software Engineer** with strong experience in **Python and Go**, hands-on experience in **high-volume data environments (Big Data)**, and a solid foundation in **Data Engineering**. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable, reliable, and observable data services and pipelines, supporting Inter’s data-driven products and initiatives. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and evolve **backend services** (Python) for data ingestion, processing, and delivery at scale. * Design and maintain **data pipelines** (batch and/or streaming), ensuring data quality, performance, and cost efficiency. * Apply **practical data engineering** techniques (modeling, partitioning, optimization, best practices for distributed processing). * Integrate solutions with data platforms and distributed execution tools (e.g., **Spark/PySpark** in Big Data scenarios). * Implement **software engineering practices**: automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, documentation, and observability standards. * Collaborate closely with Data, Product, and Security teams to ensure governance, reliability, and continuous evolution. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Solid experience in **backend/service development**, focused on scalable systems. * Proficiency in **Python**, and relevant production experience with **Go**. * Experience with **Big Data** and distributed processing (e.g., **Spark/PySpark**). * Strong foundation in **Data Engineering** (ETL/ELT, data quality, performance, versioning, best practices). * Experience with **relational and non-relational databases**, query/storage modeling, and optimization. * Experience with **automated testing** (unit/integration), **Git**, and CI/CD practices. **Nice-to-Haves** * Experience with **Kubernetes** and containers (Docker) for data and service workloads. * Experience with **AWS** (data services, observability, security, automation). * Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow/Argo) and data architecture patterns (lakehouse/medallion). * Experience in **financial environments**, where reliability, auditability, and traceability are critical. **Additional Information** * Meal Allowance and/or Food Voucher; * SESI and SESC Health and Wellness Benefits, offering access to healthcare, wellness, and leisure services; * Partnerships with Educational Institutions, providing exclusive discounts on courses and educational programs; * Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects; * Opportunity to work at a company in full expansion within the market.
