Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Experian is listed on the London Stock Exchange (EXPN) and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. **Job Description** We are seeking a backend developer with experience in Go (Golang) to work on one of our most critical products: the digital identity and fraud prevention platform. This person will join a multidisciplinary squad focused on building robust, scalable, and secure solutions that directly impact the authentication experience of millions of users. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain backend APIs and services in Go, focusing on performance, security, and scalability; * Contribute to the architecture of identity and authentication systems (login, MFA, biometrics, document verification, etc.); * Ensure high test coverage and technical quality of deliverables; * Use relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL and DynamoDB); * Actively participate in product, security, and user experience discussions; * Monitor applications using Datadog; * Daily activities involving technical tools (GoLand, Git, GitLab, Datadog, Rancher, Jira, and Confluence); * Monitor and resolve production incidents, continuously improving the platform. **Qualifications** * Experience developing software in microservices; * Proficiency in the Golang programming language (Backend); * Experience working in agile environments. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Cloud development experience (AWS); * Microservices experience; * Datadog experience; * Experience with frameworks (Gin and Gorm); * Familiarity with OpenTelemetry concepts is desirable; * Kubernetes experience. **Additional Information** Serasa Experian is much more than you imagine.
