You will join a company revolutionizing the world of business data and information across Latin America, directly contributing to the development of scalable and high-impact solutions. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable and high-performance backend applications and services using Python. * Build and maintain APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI. * Develop and maintain ETL processes. * Create and maintain scrapers for structured data collection. * Work with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. * Implement solutions using cloud services, primarily AWS (S3, EKS, etc.). * Implement caching and data management solutions using Redis. * Work with non-relational databases such as MongoDB. * Collaborate in agile environments with multidisciplinary teams. * Contribute to best practices in architecture, code quality, and performance. **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with focus on Python. * Advanced English proficiency for conversation. * Experience building and maintaining scalable web applications and services. * Experience with backend frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI). * Experience developing ETL processes. * Experience developing scrapers. * Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or other relational databases. * Knowledge of AWS (S3, EKS, etc.). * Knowledge of Redis. * Knowledge of MongoDB. * Knowledge of Cypress. * Knowledge of Docker. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience with agile methodologies and understanding of the software development lifecycle. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. * Contributions to open-source projects or an active GitHub portfolio. * Experience with Prefect or similar workflow orchestration tools. * Spanish proficiency for conversation. **ABOUT ESCALATE** We are a fully remote technology startup founded in 2020 by Software Engineers, with a mission to connect top developers and IT specialists with companies seeking high-quality technological solutions.
