**In this role, you are expected to:**
Know and apply all safety standards related to corrective and preventive maintenance activities in electric power distribution, paying attention to occupational safety and hygiene measures for employees and third parties potentially involved in such activities.
Inform about risks and hazards associated with relevant activities and provide guidance on prevention and mitigation;
Apply all safety standards related to construction, renovation, expansion, and other projects, paying attention to occupational safety and hygiene measures;
Implement occupational accident, occupational disease, and professional illness prevention programs in the workplace, involving employees, evaluating and analyzing achieved results, proposing updates, and establishing procedures to be followed;
Control PPE records and regulatory reports;
Monitor indicators related to PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE) usage, incidents, accidents, infections, and others;
Contribute to Integrated Management System (IMS) management (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001) by conducting internal and external audits;
Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazardous situations and take all necessary precautions to eliminate risk conditions;
Specify individual and collective protective equipment;
Plan and participate in safety-related events;
Prevent accidents during employee work performance and prevent occupational diseases;
Proactively analyze work processes to eliminate potential bottlenecks causing occupational accidents, work-related injuries, and occupational diseases, and propose optimal solutions to avoid risks and accidents.
**Education:**
Technical degree in Occupational Safety and certification as an Occupational Safety Technician
Desirable: Distribution Electrician course (minimum 240 hours) or ongoing undergraduate studies in Engineering. Technical education in Electrotechnology or as an Electrician.
**Requirements:**
HSEQ regulatory compliance\*
Driver's license Category B;
NR-10 certification;
Complementary SEP course under NR-10 (40 hours);
Active registration with CREA for Engineers and CRT for Technicians.
