Here, COBOL is not the past: it is the foundation for innovation, modernization, and stability. * Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL systems in mainframe environments. * Analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and estimate effort. * Fix bugs and improve system performance. * Participate in modernization and integration projects with new technologies. * Write and review technical documentation. * Support the team with technical questions and best practices. * Collaborate with business areas to understand requirements and impacts. Requirements: **Mandatory Requirements:** * Solid experience as a COBOL Developer in mainframe environments. * Experience with JCL, DB2 or VSAM, and version control tools. * Experience maintaining highly critical legacy systems. * Ability to analyze existing code and propose improvements. * Strong Portuguese communication skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams. * Availability for fully remote work under CLT employment regime. **Nice-to-Have:** * Prior experience in banking, payment systems, or large-scale industries. * Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and legacy modernization projects. * Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). * Experience in hybrid environments (mainframe \+ cloud).
